We had a really fun day playing with all of our new toys today.  We just love our babies!  We now have a stroller, high chair, two carriers, milk and juice bottles and blankies.  Our family sure knows how to make Harper happy!!  Aunt Kerri made the super awesome baby carrier that is on her arm in this picture.  She is a mom on a mission, two babies in tow - head down and she pushes with such seriousness all the way across the kitchen :)  We played with our babies all afternoon!!

Then this evening we decided to try out some of our new bath toys!! They were pretty fun!! We dyed the bath blue, dumped in ALL of our rubber duckies, our new fishy and our cool new water tubes.  She probably would have stayed in there all night if we wouldn't have dragged her out for bedtime.  Thank you everyone for all the cool presents, we look forward to playing with them for a long time!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I tried to limit the pictures but you still get quite a few!!
We had a terrific Christmas and little miss Harper sure was spoiled by Santa!!  She caught on really quick how to rip open the wrapping paper and check out her cool presents.  We made it through a good chunk then took a little break for a sticky bun breakfast - which of course she loved - and it definitely didn't take her long to head back and finish up the rest.  It was lots of fun and Santa sure wore her out.  After a nap we headed to Grammi and Pops to extend our Christmas fun!  We had a great time with our big cousins and made it home to get in bed early!!  All of this celebrating has really cut into our sleeping schedule!!!

We tried a little mini family photo shoot today.  As always it was interesting!!  We dragged out the rickety old tripod, tried to spruce ourselves up just a tad and grabbed the remote.  It might have worked all right until Harper realized that she is the one in charge of the remote.  So the following pictures were brought to you by Harper :)  (well sort of)

And we couldn't end the post without a picture of what Santa left behind :)

Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!!

Birdie and Pop arrived for Christmas!!

Birdie and Pop arrived today so we started our Christmas celebrations!!  Harper had a great time playing and reading with Birdie and Pop all day and then she helped open everyone's presents.  She is getting her practice in before the big day :)  The best present was cuddling up and reading her new book with Birdie and Pop!  Thank you Pop and Birdie!!

First of all here is a small disclaimer -- since it is the week of Christmas and we have TONS of fun things going on I am positive that the next couple posts will be completely overloaded with pictures.  Sorry -- well not really :) :) :)

Today we went down to Harrisburg and visited the Whitaker Center and we had a blast!  It is a science center that has a great area for young children.  The whole time Harper was running around like a ping pong ball having a blast!! She played in the market place, then the water table, then the ambulance and then back to the market place and all over again.  And that was only one floor -- we had two other floors as well!  It was a terrific time and I would definitely recommend it to any one with children under the age of 10 or 12.  Well actually any kids, Kurt and I had a great time and had to pull ourselves away from some of the exhibits!!!  I will let the pictures do the talking -- but Harper had a blast!!!  We will definitely go back one day!

Today we received a Christmas Gift from one of our clients at the gym.  They love Harper to pieces and knew just what to get her -- a cool John Deere ride on tractor and Frosty the Snowman.  I have been wanting to watch Frosty with her because it is nice and short -- perfect for a toddler.  It has been on TV alot, but it is always after her bedtime.  So now we own it!!  We couldn't wait and watched it tonight and Harper loved it!  She danced along to the songs, would sit with Mommy or Daddy then jump back up to get closer to the tv and then clap and do it all again.

Thanks Tim and Sandy!!

Cheeser Faces!!
I love how they are both giving cheeser faces.  I have a few other pictures were one or the other has a smile or looking into outer space, but I love this one were they both are saying cheese!

After all of that snow yesterday we had to go outside and enjoy the snow today!! First we went out in the afternoon to enjoy a little sled riding.  Harper wasn't to sure about actually sledding.  She loved clapping and cheering daddy on, but wasn't too sure about actually doing it herself.  So after sledding for a while we checked out our favorite winter thing -- the blowup Santa in the backyard - she would just sit and watch him forever if she could.  After Mommy and Daddy dragged her away from Santa and headed back towards the garage we had to pull out the good old cozy coupe.  It is never to chilly or snowy for the cozy coupe :)  We thought that was a pretty entertaining snowy afternoon so we headed inside.

BUT -- little did we know our big cousins were coming over for a little sled riding before dinner.  It was pretty dark out but we all went outside for some more snowy fun!!  It was extra fun playing in the snow and watching Santa with our big cousins!!
