This is my first picture attempt in complete manual mode in my camera. Not quite the best picture, but I am still proud of the fact that I tried out manual. I had a photography class this weekend where I learned more about photography, so now I just need to practice. One of these days it will click and I will understand everything together -- well that is what I hope. Right now I am mainly focusing on shutter speed, aperture and ISO. If anyone has any tips please feel free to share!!

Our new favorite toy!
Just a cheapo water bottle. She loves stealing them from everybody at the gym. The problem is they all think she is so cute, they give them too her (usually still full of water).

First Baby Black Eye
I am still not sure how it happened, but while we were in the doctor's office going from the carseat to my arms she came up with this. The picture doesn't look so bad, but it is definitely black and blue in person. Unfortunately I am sure there will be many more!

As I was trying to feed her tonight she wanted nothing to do with the turkey, peas and applesauce, but she was loving the highchair. She would not stop chomping away on the plastic - guess my cooking is really bad :)

Project 365
As we head into 2013 I am going to try to accomplish a "Project 365" and I have decided to post it here for everyone to see. My plan is to take a picture a day and post it with a quick blurb about the day or picture. I have always loved taking pictures and I want to now try to improve upon my photography skills. I figure that a project 365 will not only help my improve upon my skills, but also document the year very nicely. With Harper growing so fast I think it will really help us remember so many things about this year as I am sure it will fly by. I do need your help as well though, please feel free to comment on any picture for any reason. It is easy to feel like no body is looking or enjoying pictures and it is extremely helpful to have a comment here or there to remind me that people actually do read and enjoy this.
